Thank you so much for performing at my Snowdrop Charity Event. I was very pleased with the entertainment you provided throughout the evening. Aaron was very supportive of the charity and the reasons for the evening and kept in touch leading up to the event. Everyone who came along to the event said how much they enjoyed your music and a few people said they would like you to play at their upcoming events. You are all lovely lads and amazing musicians. Fantastic Band! Great Sound! Great Guys!!

Thanks to The Sound for an awesome night. A Fantastic band - great sound - great guys!! I was very impressed by the professionalism when booking the band as Aaron was very helpful and enthusiastic and kept in touch in the lead up to the night - ensuring that we were all set to ROCK with posters supplied - set up time etc. Looking foward to their next gig with us at Chaplins Bar, Torquay.

Massive thank you

A massive 'thank you' to The Sound for playing at our wedding party. They were professional from beginning to end, letting us choose songs we liked from their extensive set list and performing them with all the musical aplomb and composure of the original artists. They managed to get everyone up dancing, which is no mean feat. They were also brave enough to let Ian up on stage to sing, for which we can only hope has not scarred them too badly! The guys truly made our wedding party and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality covers band.

Fantastic band for our evening wedding reception

The Sound were an absolutely fantastic band for our evening wedding reception. They played a range of songs that everyone knew and everyone was up dancing. The floor was packed and everyone loved singing along.

The band were totally professional in the build up to the wedding and arrived early ready to set up and start. Although we were a little late finishing the meal, the band were not fazed and just altered their set start times a little to fit in with us. They made their middle break shorter to ensure we got the full amount of time we had paid for.

Every part of the performance was top quality and at the end of the night the guests were begging them to sing more!

Every song they performed was brilliant and many of our evening guests commented on how fabulous they sounded.

We are truly thankful to the band for giving us a really personal performance which we and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be looking out for local gigs where we can see them again.

Up there as one of the best!!

We went to see these guys at the Blaize after checking out their set list on here which seemed my kind of thing - quite a lot of modern stuff. We arrived at the end of the first set but soon wished we'd have gone their earlier!

The band really are very tight in their music. They all play well together. They do some of the more unconventional songs really well. Highlights were chasing Cars (Snow Patrol), Dakota (Stereophonics) and Don't Look Back in Anger (Oasis). They also do some really great classic covers songs by way of Molly Chambers and Mr Brightside! The highlight for me though was my all time favourite song Naive by The Kooks which was performed perfectly.

I'm not really a technical wizz when going to watch bands but I've seen a fair few and really do rate these guys up there as one of the best I've seen to date. There was a great atmosphere in the pub too - the songs they play are high energy up beat tunes (well most of them are!). It's rare to find a covers band doing such a range of stuff well.

Go and check these guys out if you're looking for a talented covers band doing up to date stuff and just generally providing a good night for spectators! We're planning on going to Plymouth to see these guys again next month! Thanks guys, keep up the good work xx.

Book 'em

Book em!! These guys were brilliant. Their first time here and certainly not their last. Everyone had an amazing time and all comments were positive. One of the best bands we've seen in a while. Thanks for a great evening and look forward to seeing you all again. Keep going we think you will do well.

This band is hot, hot, hot!!

This band is hot, hot, hot! I heard them playing back in November at The Cherry Tree (where they had the whole pub rocking!) I loved them so much I tracked them down for my husband's 30th birthday!

The Sound made the party! They smashed it getting everyone up on the dance floor performing The Kings of Leon, 'Sex On Fire' to which everyone was going mad and requesting encores. The band performed tracks from The Killers to Oasis and even Scott's 60 year old Auntie and Uncle were up throwing moves on the dance floor!

These guys are absolutely fab and I would recommend them to anyone. I would definitely pay for them again! Everyone asked how I managed to get hold of them - that's how good they were. One of our guests even thought we were partying to a CD until the crowd dispersed to the extent they realised they were listening and dancing to a live band!

This band tops them all!!

Had a fantastic nite watching the sound at the Cherry Tree on Friday nite. It was the first time I had seen them and was very impressed. I have seen a few bands in Plymouth, but this band tops them all. I liked the diversity of the band, putting their own mark on songs like Poker Face (Lady Gaga), sex on fire and other gud indie tracks. Keep up the gud work guys and one day you will take on the world. Great Nite had by all..

Blown Away!!

Quality band - Quality music!!

You guys were great... If anyone wants to have a great band with great music then look no further. I booked them for my 40th and everyone loved them. They do a wide selection of music and pull off every song. I would book them for any private function, and if I get married you guys will be first on my list.

Every member of the band is a great guy and on stage they have great presence, a great energy that the whole crowd get stuck into. I had nearly 200 people at my Party and the room was very large but the music filled the place... brilliant. I love Oasis and they did them proud... 'Don't look Back In Anger' all I can say is thanks guys.

If you are looking for a quality band that play quality music... then look no further, 'The Sound' is the band for you. I will not hesitate to book this band again and give them 200% positive feed back. Thanks for making the party guys. All the best, Ian.

5 new friends : )

This was the first gig I watched, and I have been to pretty much every one since! And I never get bored of their music! I think I could honestly say that The Sound are one of Plymouth's best Premier Indie Rock Covers Bands!

I started going to watch The Sound because I needed to get out after a few relationship problems! I had such a great night I had to see them again! They soon recognised my face and started to invite me to all their gigs. They play a lot of my favourite music like Stereophonics and Coldplay and I think they are brilliant. I was really depressed at one point because of my issues but going to watch The Sound really picked me back up again! Each of the guys are so friendly and down to earth in their own little ways, they always make me smile! Now I am a lot happier and I can honestly say it is because of these 5 awesome guys! They really make me feel welcome at each gig and I have made 5 new friends : )

Each person I have invited along to see them say how great they are and want to come along again! They are very talented. Look forward to the next gig.

Soooo awesome!!

These guys were soooo awesome, it was our first live band since we've refurbished and reopened - they kicked it off in style! Everyone really enjoyed themselves so much they keep asking me when they are coming back! They were so professional and their set up was brilliant. Would seriously recommend to any venue for any occasion, they did it in such short notice for us too and we still had a good crowd enjoying every minute!

A real breath of fresh air - a great high energy up and coming band, you guys will go far!
